Sony's payoff day

So you must have heard by now that Sony released more information about the security breach of PSN. Confirmed, thousands of credit cards' details of European users have been compromised. The hacking "Legion" has them now...

Anyhow, you can read about that in the PSN blog (see PS Blog News on the right).

What is more interesting, Sony also started to release details of "compensation package" (or so-called "Welcome Back" program).

PSN update: personal information of 75 million users stolen?

As we mentioned already in our previous post, Sony admitted earlier that during the intrusion into Playstation Network personal user information may have been compromised.

When we first saw the "PSN is undergoing maintenance" frustrating message on our PS3 on April 20th, we actually believed it. 

When Patrick Seybold, Sony's senior director of corporate communications and social media wrote that "it may be a full day or two", it raised our suspicions that something is not right there.
